FREE pool hire to clients of Blossom Baby
Having had an amazing home water birth myself, I support all women who choose to birth their baby at home. To make it easier I lend out my inflatable birth pool at no cost to any woman who attends my weekly classes or to my doula clients. It is available to those using Blossom Baby services and you can borrow it from 37 weeks until your baby is born.
It is an inflatable ‘La Bassine Mini’ Made in Water birth pool and has a cover to help keep the water warm, a pump to blow up the pool, and a pump to empty the water too. Disposable liners are recommended when pools are used by more than one user and these can be purchased at your own cost. The pool should also be cleaned well with hot soapy water and wipe down with sterilising fluid/wipes before filling.
The pool is offered free of charge on the basis that if the pool or any part for the kit is damaged, it is either repaired or replaced and you use the pool at your own risk. The pool and any part of the kit used must be cleaned well with hot soapy water before returning. Looking after the pool well means it continues to be available for other mums-to-be for free too.
